Client Terms and Conditions
These Client Terms & Conditions apply to the provision of professional organising services by Tidykind. These terms apply once a booking has been confirmed.

Services are agreed in advance and tailored to each project. This may include:
-
Decluttering and organisation of agreed areas
-
Storage product recommendations or sourcing
-
Coordination of donations, recycling and waste removal
-
Light cleaning as part of the organising process
2. Client Responsibilities
We ask that clients:
-
Are present during the session (or available to make key decisions as needed).
-
Provide safe and reasonable access to the space(s).
-
Advise us in advance of any health or safety concerns (e.g. allergens, pets, fragile items)
-
Are responsible for the removal or disposal of unwanted items.
Please note that Tidykind does not handle hazardous waste, heavy lifting of large furniture, or full house clearances.
3. Confidentiality
We respect your privacy at every stage of the process. All client information, including the layout and contents of your home, will be treated as strictly confidential.
4. Photography & Social Media
We often take before-and-after photos to document progress and, with your permission, to share on our website, social media and promotional materials. Any images used will never include names, addresses or other identifying details.
Photos will only be shared publicly with your explicit permission.
5. Fees
-
Our standard rate is £240 per day. A day session consists of 4 hours of organising time. Weekend sessions are charged at £280 per day.
-
Where additional time is required outside of a booked session, this will be charged at our standard rate of £30 per organiser per hour. Time is charged in 15-minute increments to reflect the actual time spent working on your project.
-
For longer sessions, we may take a short lunch break. This time is unpaid and will not be counted towards the total organising time charged.
-
Session time begins at the agreed start time. If access is delayed or the session is shortened due to client availability, the full session fee may still apply.
-
Travel is included within a 10-mile radius of each organiser's home. Beyond this, additional mileage is charged at £0.45/mile round trip.
-
Any parking fees, permits, or access charges incurred during a session will be added to the final invoice unless otherwise agreed.
6. Payment
-
A non-refundable deposit may be requested to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking and deducted from the final invoice.
-
Payment is due on completion of the session unless otherwise agreed.
-
Late payments may be subject to a reminder. We reserve the right to pause further work until payment is received.
7. Product Sourcing
-
Where storage solutions or organising products are required, we can source and procure these on your behalf.
-
A sourcing and procurement fee of 15% of the total product cost will be applied to cover the time spent researching, ordering and, where necessary, returning items.
-
Product recommendations will be discussed and agreed with you prior to purchase.
8. Cancellations
We understand that plans can change. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel your session.
Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a 25% fee of the estimated session cost to cover lost time.
9. Liability
Tidykind holds public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance for all services provided.
We take great care when handling your belongings. However, Tidykind cannot accept liability for accidental damage or loss resulting from pre-existing wear and tear, structural instability, or inherent defects in items.
All decisions relating to the retention, disposal, donation or sale of belongings remain entirely the responsibility of the client. Tidykind will not remove, discard or donate any items without the client’s explicit consent, and we cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from those decisions.
Once items have been designated for donation, recycling or disposal with the client’s consent, responsibility for those items transfers to the relevant third party.
Tidykind’s total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid for the relevant session.
10. Unexpected Circumstances
Tidykind will not be liable for any delay or inability to carry out services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This may include, but is not limited to, illness, injury, extreme weather, transport disruption, family emergencies or other unforeseen events.
In these circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange the session for a mutually convenient date. Any payments already made will be carried forward to the rescheduled booking.
