  • Product recommendations or sourcing

  • Donation drop-off advice or coordination

  • Light cleaning as part of the organising process (e.g. wiping shelves before restyling)

2. Client Responsibilities

We ask that clients:

  • Are present during the session (or available to make key decisions as needed).

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to the space(s).

  • Advise us in advance of any health or safety concerns (e.g. allergens, pets, fragile items)

  • Arrange for removal or disposal of unwanted items, unless agreed otherwise.

Please note that Tidykind does not handle hazardous waste, heavy lifting of large furniture, or full house clearances.

3. Confidentiality

All client information, including the layout and contents of your home, will be treated as strictly confidential.

We respect your privacy at every stage of the process.

4. Photography & Social Media

We often take before-and-after photos to document progress and, with your permission, to share on our website, social media and promotional materials. Any images used will never include names, addresses or other identifying details.

Photos will only be shared publicly with your explicit permission.

5. Fees & Payment

  • Our hourly rate is £30 per organiser (£35 on weekends).

  • For longer sessions, we may take a short lunch break. This time is unpaid and will not be counted towards the total organising hours charged for.

  • Time is charged in 15-minute increments to reflect the actual time spent working on your project.

  • Travel time within a 10-mile radius of Tiverton is included; additional mileage charged at £0.45/mile.

  • A non-refundable deposit may be requested to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be confirmed at the time of booking and deducted from the final invoice.

  • Payment is due on completion of the session unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may be subject to a reminder. We reserve the right to pause further work until payment is received.

6. Product Sourcing

  • Where storage solutions or organising products are required, we can source and procure these on your behalf.

  • All products purchased for your project will be charged to you at cost.

  • A sourcing and procurement fee of 15% of the total product cost will be applied to cover the time spent researching, selecting, ordering, coordinating and, where necessary, returning items.

  • Product recommendations will be discussed and agreed with you prior to purchase.

  • Any returns requested by the client after installation may be subject to additional time charges.

7. Cancellations & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel your session.

Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a 25% fee of the estimated session cost to cover lost time.

8. Liability

We take great care when handling your belongings. However, Tidykind cannot accept liability for accidental damage or loss resulting from pre-existing wear and tear, structural instability, or inherent defects in items.

All decisions relating to the retention, disposal, donation or sale of belongings remain entirely the responsibility of the client. Tidykind will not remove, discard or donate any items without the client’s explicit consent, and we cannot be held responsible for outcomes resulting from those decisions.

9. Unexpected Circumstances

Tidykind will not be liable for any delay or inability to carry out services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. This may include, but is not limited to, illness, injury, extreme weather, transport disruption, family emergencies or other unforeseen events.

In these circumstances, we will contact you as soon as possible to rearrange the session for a mutually convenient date. Any payments already made will be carried forward to the rescheduled booking.
